Nursing Degree Programs To Be Added to Site Offerings
WILKES-BARRE, PA. (Oct. 23, 2012) – Information sessions will be held in November and December for adults interested in taking Wilkes University classes in the Poconos. The sessions will include information about bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for registered nurses being offered at the Pocono location for the first time starting in January.
Information sessions will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the University’s Pocono Center, located at the Shoppes at Crossroads on Route 611 in Bartonsville. Sessions are held from 5 to 7 p.m. on these dates:
University staff will be on hand to discuss the admissions process, financial aid and student services. Faculty will meet with students to address program structure and coursework. Preregistration is encouraged but not required.
Bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for registered nurses at the Pocono Center are additions to other degrees offered at the site. They include a master of business administration degree, an accelerated bachelor of business administration program for those wishing to complete their degree and a master of science degree in engineering management.
Classes are scheduled in evenings and on weekends. Costs for the programs vary, but tuition is competitive and financial aid is available to those who qualify. Spring classes start in January.
