Give Blood: Wilkes Blood Drive is November 28th- Register at http://www.redcrossblood.org/
Cash Contributions- Drop off at the Civic Engagement Office, 203 Henry Student Center- checks made out to Wilkes University
Donate! Feed the Hungry, Red Cross, and Salvation Army are a few organizations.
A word of caution:
Don’t Send Unsolicited Donations
Volunteer: Be Safe! Be Patient! We are working to create volunteer weekends. At this point many of the hard hit areas are without basic necessities. Sending in volunteers at a time like this is taxing on resources better used on Sandy survivors at this time.
Please let us know if you are interested in forming a weekend Army of Colonels Cleaning Crew: we will begin the process of strategic Disaster Recovery. Contact Megan.boone@wilkes.edu with your interest.
