CAR 101 will be offered for 50 minutes each week on Mondays at 11 AM (CRN 11553) for the Spring 2013 semester, beginning the second week of classes (January 21).
Students will explore components of educational/career decision making, including the influence of personal goals, values, interests, and perceived skills. The practical application of theory results in a portfolio of information essential to deliberate and effective decision making. CAR 101 will provide the opportunity for increased self-understanding and a greater understanding of career opportunities of interest. Desired experiences (in and out of the classroom) will guide the development of an Educational Plan. In this course, we explore how to develop and effectively use a decision-making process that is goal-oriented and encourages personal achievement.
