WILKES-BARRE, PA. (April 16, 2013) – Michael Gundersdorf, of Hackettstown, N.J., has been named Wilkes University’s Enrollment Recruiter in Mesa. This position will be responsible for recruitment activities associated with students at the University’s Mesa site.
Gundersdorf’s responsibilities will include counseling students on college life, building relationships with prospective students, helping with application processes, and proactively seeking to grow knowledge about the University admissions regulations and procedures.
Gundersdorf graduated from Wilkes University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications and public relations. He played football for the University and upon graduation, worked as an assistant football coach and recruiting coordinator. He was inducted into the Wilkes University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
Gundersdorf previously held positions as membership director at Rock Spring Club in West Orange, N.J. and recruiting coordinator for Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J.
