Exit Criteria:

  1. All Intensive English Program (IEP) students must take the official TOEFL iBT test at the end of level five in order to exit theIEP program. Graduate applicants must score a minimum of 80.  Graduate students will not be admitted to full time study until they achieve this required score.   Undergraduate students are expected to achieve at least a 60 on this exam in order to exit theIntensive English Program, however all other exit criteria will be considered should this score not be met.   The Center for English language instruction spends a great deal of time preparing students for this exam, and 99.9% of IEP program graduates have achieved the necessary scores.  Students must register for this test on their own; it can be taken in Clark Summit, PA. 
  2. Students must receive a minimum of 80% in all their classes.
  3. Students must receive final approval from the IEP Director stating that these requirements have been successfully met.
