The Wilkes GIS/Remote Sensing Center offers a full range of GIS and mapping services and support. Both PC and Workstation versions of ArcInfo and ArcView are used for spatial analysis and graphic display. The Center processes both multi-spectral satellite imagery and aerial photography for mapping and spatial analysis. The system is complemented with the integration of GPS (Global Positioning System) for feature mapping and geo-referencing.
