Wilkes Alumna Joins Team of Experts
August 7, 2008 - Wilkes University’s Sovereign Center for Leadership and Management Development is pleased to announce the addition of Laraine R. Mancuso to its Team of Experts.
Mancuso is a learning and organizational development consultant with extensive experience in helping clients to maximize their individual and organizational performance to achieve superior business results. Her areas of expertise include: management and leadership development; performance measurement; curriculum design; strategic thinking; team building; instructional design, facilitation and coaching. Her clients include both corporate and non-profit organizations.
Prior to establishing her own consulting firm, Laraine worked for a variety of top corporations including: JPMorgan Chase; Doubleclick; Reliance National; US Trust; and Bloomingdales. These positions have given her a broad base of business experience enabling her to bring a diverse perspective on the challenges facing her clients.
As Arete Solutions, Laraine has worked on diverse corporate projects, including designing training to increase the productivity of claims professionals for a major insurance company; developing a measurement strategy for an E-learning sales training program at a major financial services firm; facilitating sales/communication training for a major manufacturing firm; and working with two non- profits to develop a strategy to attract and retain corporate sponsors. Laraine has also been working for the US Government Office of Personal Management as a performance coach for senior government leaders.
Laraine earned a BA in History from Wilkes University, an MA in Education from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and completed the New York University Certificate Program in Fundraising & Philanthropy. She has attended the University of Leeds in England, the Insurance Institute of America, and the New York Institute of Finance.
