Felixa Wingen
Assistant Director, International Student Services
Center for Global Education and Diversity
Wilkes University

Welcome to the Office of International Student and Faculty Services at Wilkes University!

My name is Felixa.  I am the Immigration Specialist who helps international students and faculty members with all of their immigration questions.  Also, as the Admission Counselor, I help international students apply for undergraduate programs and the Intensive English Program at Wilkes.  I am the Assistant Director of International Student and Faculty Services at the new Center for Global Education and Diversity at Wilkes University.  Feel free to email me for more information about any of Wilkes’ programs!

International Student and Faculty Services offers much assistance to our international students and scholars.  We offer an Orientation to the Wilkes University campus, host workshops on American cultural issues and problems, and answer immigration concerns you may have while you are applying to Wilkes, or once you arrive on our beautiful, urban campus.

I hope that you’ll seriously consider Wilkes.  As an alumna of Wilkes University, I know that my experience here was a great one!  I have been able to pursue a wonderful career based on the foundation of knowledge I received at Wilkes and I have forged friendships during my time as an undergraduate that endure to today.  When I first visited Wilkes, I thought it was a very friendly place.  I think you’ll find it’s not just a friendly place—your Wilkes family will be your second family away from home!
