"The switch over from being a number to advisors being able to call me up on the phone has been a nice transition."
Student name: Sara Crolick
Major/Minor:
Major - English
Year: Graduated
Hometown: Kingston, PA
Activities On and Off Campus: President of Sigma Tau Delta
Career Aspirations: I’d like to teach at the University level as a professor.
Most Worthwhile Leadership Experience: Sigma Tau Delta is fun…it’s an interesting position. Sigma Tau has been great. The Vice-President, faculty advisor and myself get to just talk and work to make sure the group excited.
Best thing about being a student at Wilkes University: I’d say the size of the department has benefited me most. I transferred from a large university in Denver; the switch over from being a number to advisors being able to call me up on the phone has been a nice transition.
Why Wilkes: Before I moved, I was a Pre-Pharm major in Denver. When I transfered, I was going to complete my Pre-Pharm degree. At Wilkes, however, I took a lower level english course to fulfull a requirement and realized that English is who I am.
