Every incoming student will receive an Ementor, an upperclassman in a related major that they can rely on for peer advice; your mentor becomes your first friend at Wilkes! E-Mentors communicate with First-Year Students prior to the start of the semester primarily through an introductory letter sent in early June and emails through the Wilkes email system. At Orientation, the First-Year Students meet their E-Mentors who also serve as their Orientation Leader.
The communication with E-Mentors continues throughout the entire fall semester, making sure that the students are adjusted to the University. E-Mentors are not limited to electronic communication; students often meet face-to-face for lunch or other campus events as well. Have more questions? Contact the ementoring coordinator at Sharon.castano@wilkes.edu.
