Along the way, University College staff partner with you to provide the quality assistance you expect at Wilkes University.Academic Advising Services - University College coordinates services to assist students and faculty with the advising process. Act 101 Program - A program of academic support for Pennsylvania residents funded by the PA Department of Education. Career Services - A comprehensive service to guide students through the educational planning process in preparation for their professional career. DSS at Wilkes (Disability Support Services) - University College coordinates accommodations and support for students with disabilities. ESL at Wilkes - University College offers a comprehensive program for students who lack proficiency in English. First-Year Program - A program of support for students who may benefit from a mediated transition to college-level studies. Learning-Skills Program - University College offers workshops and seminars to assist students to improve their learning skills. Supplemental Instruction - Weekly review sessions are offered for selected courses. Tutorial Services - University College offers peer and professional tutoring for students who request assistance. Undeclared Majors Program - University College is home to students who wish to explore their options before making the choice of a major. Upward Bound Program - A federally funded program for high school students who will be first-generation college students. |
