MAINSTAGE & BLACK BOX THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Wilkes University Theatre presents:

• a full season of dramas and musicals on the main stage at the Darte Center
• a season of student and faculty produced black box productions

Wilkes University Theater (WUT) provides opportunities for theatre artists to develop their skills in a caring and well equipped atmosphere.

THE-190 THEATRE LABORATORY

Wilkes University students of all majors are encouraged to register for:

THE190  -  OFFERED EVERY SEMESTER FOR 1, 2 OR 3 CREDITS.  

THE190 offers students the opportunity to work on theatre productions in a variety of capacities ranging from stage management to theatre set construction.  

With permission from the Division Chair, it is possible for non-theatre majors to use THE190 to fulfill their core requirements in the arts.

THEATRE WORKSTUDY:

For Wilkes students eligible for workstudy, WUT offers the opportunity to become involved in theatre production in a variety of capacities.

Every semester, workstudy positions become available for both theatre majors and non-majors.  

Theatre workstudy gives students theatre experience working backstage, on lights, sound and scenery for many productions at the Darte Center
