Larry Heinemann – (Advisory Board Member) Novelist and Essayist. Larry Heinemann’s latest book is BLACK VIRGIN MOUNTAIN, a nonfiction piece that chronicles his return trips to Vietnam and his personal and political views concerning the country and the war. His other works include PACO’S STORY, winner of the 1987 National Book Award for Fiction, and COOLER BY THE LAKE. His short stories and non-fiction have appeared in ATLANTIC MONTHLY, GRAPHIS, PENTHOUSE, PLAYBOY, TRI-QUARTERLY and numerous other publications. He has also received literature fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment of the Arts.
