Objectives

- To prepare students for employment as engineers in electrical engineering or related disciplines, for graduate study, and for professional registration
- To equip students with mathematical, computational, analytical, programming, and experimental skills that will enable them to understand contemporary issues in technology, to command modern engineering tools, and to be innovative and productive in their chosen career
- To produce electrical engineers who can communicate effectively, understand and undertake professional responsibilities, and function effectively as members and leaders of multi-disciplinary teams
- To produce engineers who can understand environmental, global, historical, cultural, societal, economical, ethical, and professional issues

- Apply the core science and mathematics principles to solve engineering problems.
- Integrate humanities and social sciences as part of a well-rounded professional education.
