Objectives
  1. To prepare students for employment as engineers in electrical engineering or related disciplines, for graduate study, and for professional registration
  2. To equip students with mathematical, computational, analytical, programming, and experimental skills that will enable them to understand contemporary issues in technology, to command modern engineering tools, and to be innovative and productive in their chosen career
  3. To produce electrical engineers who can communicate effectively, understand and undertake professional responsibilities, and function effectively as members and leaders of multi-disciplinary teams
  4. To produce engineers who can understand environmental, global, historical, cultural, societal, economical, ethical, and professional issues

Outcomes
  1. Apply the core science and mathematics principles to solve engineering problems.
  2. Integrate humanities and social sciences as part of a well-rounded professional education.
  3. Apply core engineering knowledge to integrated engineering processes.
  4. Demonstrate an ability to design and conduct experiments, and to collect and interpret experimental data.
  5. Demonstrate an ability to design components and systems.
  6. Demonstrate an ability to use electrical engineering, as well as, general-purpose software packages.
  7. Demonstrate an ability to use equipment used in modern electrical engineering practice.
  8. Work individually and in teams to identify and solve complex engineering problems that cut across disciplines.
  9. Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively.
  10. Demonstrate an ability to use information resources efficiently.
