Dr. Andrew P. Miller received his PhD in Political Science from Purdue University in 2004. His teaching and research interests center on economic development issues in Central America, particularly the use of ecotourism as a development strategy. Dr. Miller’s most recent book, Ecotourism Development in Costa Rica: The Search for Oro Verde (Lexington Books) was published in August, 2012. He has led student trips to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
In December 2013, Dr Miller will be publishing his third book, "Neoliberalism, Globalization and Ecotourism Development".
