Position Title • Adjunct Faculty
Reference Number • CAF003 Department/Division • Integrative Media Description Wilkes University seeks candidates for adjunct faculty positions within the areas of 3D Animation and Digital Sound Design/Music Theory for the upcoming Spring 2010 semester. Also of interest are candidates within one or more of the following skill-sets: design foundations, art history, graphic design, interactive media, programming for visual media, animation: 2D, digital video, compositing and concept development.
Qualified candidates should have the terminal degree, and/or extensive professional experience in their area(s) of expertise. College-level teaching experiences a plus.
Ideal candidates will have a good mix of skills in both design and technology. A dedication to encourage strong concepts, an independent thought process and the promotion of the student’s development of a personal aesthetic with a cutting edge avant-garde philosophy within the ever changing industries related to digital production. An ability to teach a variety of course levels and subjects is also desirable.
