Parking

On-campus summer parking permits will be available to registered students beginning Thursday, May 1, at the Public Safety Office located @ UCOM parking garage office, 146 South Main Street (across from new University Center on Main building). Students may purchase permits for $10.00/month from 8am-6pm.

A limited number of summer daytime parking permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you are only taking a second-session course in July, come to campus at the beginning of the summer to purchase a permit as we cannot ensure that there will be permits available.

The parking lots for summer student use will be any lot designated as "Resident" or "Commuter" student parking. Please refer to the campus map(also located in the "Wilkes University Parking Program" brochure) for more details. Parking in Wilkes lots during weekends and evenings after 4 pm is free for students and does not require a permit. Ticketing and towing will be enforced during the summer months.

Registered students who purchase summer parking permits will need to complete a vehicle registration form and a "Parking Privileges and Responsibilities" form.Please bring the following information toregister your vehicle: make, model, year, color, license plate number and state.

Student photo ID cards are also obtained at Public Safety (no charge for ID) and are required for access to classroom buildings (SLC, Marts), to use Breiseth 006 computer lab & for library services.
