Biography

Chester D. Newhart, Jr., Esq., joins the Wilkes faculty as Visiting Instructor of Business and Accounting in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership. He holds the B.S. from the University of Scranton, the J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, and is a licensed attorney and title insurance agent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Chet served formerly as Solicitor for the Boroughs of West Pittston and Wyoming, for the West Pittston and East Side Zoning Boards, and as law clerk for the Honorable Correale Stevens and the Honorable Gifford Capellini. Chet is also a former adjunct faculty member at Wilkes University and now returns in his new role to teach Law and Business, The Legal Environment of Business and Business Law, Business and Public Policy, Advanced Topics in Business Law, and Financial and Managerial Accounting.
