Ms. Nanstiel received her MS from...
Drexel University and also holds a MS in education, with a major in English, from Wilkes.

After working several years as the medical librarian at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, she joined Wilkes in the fall of 1995 to begin building the collection for the pharmacy program.

Since the school opened, she has been responsible for...
managing the pharmacy print and electronic resources housed in the Pharmacy Information Center and in the Farley Library. She also responds to faculty reference requests and faculty and student interlibrary loans needs, and maintains the PIC Web site.

During hands-on labs, she teaches first-year students to search several medical/drug databases and continues coaching in searching skills throughout the students' tenures.

Ms. Nanstiel is a member of...
the Health Information Library Network of Northeastern Pennsylvania and is credentialed by the Academy of Health Information Professionals of the Medical Library Association at the senior level.

She is also an active member of the Libraries/Educational Resources Section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and is the co-editor of their Basic Resources for Pharmacy Education.
