Biography

Dr. Russell has been on faculty at Wilkes since 2002.
She earned her BS degree in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences in Boston, MA in 1992.

She completed her PharmD degree at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, in 1994.

Dr. Russell worked as a clinical pharmacist...
in internal medicine at Polyclinic Medical Center and then became clinical pharmacy coordinator at PinnacleHealth System in Harrisburg, PA for several years.

Just prior to joining the Wilkes faculty, she was a medical science manager (CV/Endocrinology) for Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Currently, Dr. Russell maintains an ambulatory-care pharmacy clerkship site in lipid management with Geisinger Medical Group, Lake Scranton.

She has written a book chapter...
on gout and provided professional state chapter association lectures. She completed a physicial assessment and smoking cessation certificate program.

She is also recognized as an immunization provider and educator by the American Pharmacists Association. She currently is in a shared faculty position.
