Biography

Dr. Ge Xiao specializes in marketing and e-business. She earned her doctoral degree in consumer affairs as well as a master degree in management information systems from Auburn University. She also holds a bachelor degree in economics from Yokohama City University, Japan. Prior to joining Wilkes University, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia for several years. Dr. Xiao’s teaching and research interests lie in the areas of international marketing, consumer behavior, e-business, communication, and brand management. Dr. Xiao has taught courses in a variety of subject areas. Her research has been published in several referred journals, including Psychology and Marketing and International Communication Gazette.
