The global perspectives of the United Nations come to Wilkes University through a collaborative program launched in 2011. The program brings U.N. officials to campus throughout the year for lectures and informal meetings with students. Wilkes University is the ONLY northeast Pennsylvania higher education institution participating. Our goal for the 2015-2016 academic year is to present five lectures by U.N. officials, consisting of either secretariat officials, U.N. field workers, U.N. specialized agency officials and/or U.N. diplomats.
Seats are limited. To RSVP or for more information, contact: Mildred Urban, associate director of special events at (570) 408-4330 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
