Business Administration

Wilkes University business administration students collaborate on an upcoming project.

Want to learn how to run a business from the ground up? At the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership, you'll do just that, as you work with a team your freshman year to conceptualize, design and operate your own business.

Sidhu School business programs develop your leadership potential while enhancing your knowledge of finance, international business, management and marketing. Every student participates in our Personal and Professional Development Series, a program that helps link your educational experience with career planning and leadership development.

The program concludes with a senior internship, giving you essential on-the-job experience necessary to make your mark. In recent years, students have been offered opportunities at Morgan Stanley, AT&T, Disney, ESPN, The Gap and VH1.

If you're unsure which business major to pursue, you can enter Wilkes University by declaring business administration. That is considered an undeclared business major. If you declare business administration, you will follow the same first-year curriculum as any Sidhu major. In the second year, you will begin to complete the Sidhu foundation and core courses. You are encouraged to select one of the eight Sidhu undergraduate majors before entering your junior year. You can select from:
