Open House FAQs

Registration opens a month prior to the Open House date.

Join us to meet with our students, expert faculty, and alumni.  You will learn about our majors, minors, internships and hands-on learning opportunities and be able to tour most of our academic facilities and residence halls.

There are typically 4 sessions to chose from as well as getting a lunch.  An academic fair is also held towards the end of the day so you can meet and speak with any faculty from sessions you could not attend, or for any other questions you can think of!

The day is all about YOU and designed around your specific interests. When registration is available, you can register online here and choose your desired sessions.

High school seniors and transfer students can now find out immediately whether they’ve been admitted to Wilkes. Please click here to learn more information and what documents are required for your to submit before the event or bring with you that day!

Accepted Students Day registration is only open to students who have already been accepted for the fall and are current high school seniors or transfer students. Families of accepted students are also welcome to attend.

This day allows you to experience the life of a Wilkes student, before you become an official Wilkes student. Instead of traditional Open House major-related sessions, each session will include mini academic classes taught by our faculty. You will be able to chose classes based from your major. Please be aware, classes may close during registration as some provide hands on projects which will limit classroom capacities. It is important to register early for a larger registration selection.

Full campus tours, tours of residence halls, financial aid meetings, and lunch will also be available to chose during registration.

Towards the end of the day, we hold an Information Fair so you can speak with staff from various departments (such as: academic affairs, athletics, book store, dining services, information technology, public safety, etc.) and current students from some of our student clubs and organizations.

Don't know if you are accepted into Wilkes yet and want to attend Accepted Students Day? Please either speak with your specific admissions counselor to complete your application, or start by applying online today!

During our 45 minute walking tour you will see:
