Zbigniew J. Witczak, Ph.D. of Wilkes University's Nesbitt School of Pharmacy Named Fellow of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry

Established in 1919, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry is the world authority on chemical nomenclature and terminology, including the naming of new elements in the periodic table; on standardized methods for measurement; and on atomic weights, and many other critically-evaluated data. The Fellows Program facilitates a continued dialogue with the world's scientists, helping to achieve the Union's mission of uniting a fragmented, global chemistry community for the advancement of chemical sciences.
