For those of you who matched with a residency program, congratulations and this message is for you! Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association has a developed a series of modules to help prepare you for your residency. The Pre-Residency Excellence Program (PREP) offers a variety of modules topics for a minimal fee, beginning in May. You may participate in as many topics as you wish. Please see the message below from the CEO of PPA, Pat Epple.
Congratulations on Your Residency!
You made it through the match and scramble and are now poised to start a residency in just a few short months! Sure -- it is very exciting but at the same time, it is a whole new world, with different focus, perspectives, and expectations. Many graduates facing their residency have shared some apprehension going into their residency. Don’t start your residency program unprepared!
Let the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) help you brush up on your current knowledge and also learn the basics of some of the new skills you will need. We are offering the PREP (Pre-Excellence Residency Program) Webinar Series in May and June to help you do just that. The series is offered in modules every Tuesday and Thursday, at 1 p.m., in one hour or one hour and a half segments. You can attend all of the programs or as many as you want/can. If you absolutely cannot make one that you really want to attend, the slides and any handouts/resources will be available for you to access. The information will remain up on the web for your reference for the next six months. All of this information is available for a little over $5/session. A small investment for the success of your pharmacy career.
You do not have to be doing a residency in Pennsylvania – this program will benefit you wherever you are going. Going to this link, will provide you with all the further details, including topics, modules, dates, times, and cost. https://m360.papharmacists.com/event.aspx?eventID=98768&instance=0
