Dr. Asif Abdullah Khan is an Assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering department. Dr. Khan completed his Bachelor's degree at KUET, Bangladesh and then he moved to Canada to acquire his PhD at the University of Waterloo. He also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Khan’s research interests are focused on the synthesis and characterization of novel perovskite nanomaterials for mechanical energy harvesters especially for Piezoelectric nanogenerators, Triboelectric nanogenerators, and Hybrid nanogenerators. His research also focuses on Photodetectors, and Self-powered Structural Health Monitoring of aircraft.
