Joe Housenick joined Wilkes University in 2008 as Director of Human Resources and was promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer in March 2013. He is responsible for the leadership of the Human Resources Management function that includes: employee relations, compensation and benefits design & administration, performance management, recruitment, training & development and payroll. Additionally he consults with University’s constituents about many issues related to personnel matters.
He is a graduate of King's College in Human Resources Management and has 19 years of experience in the human resources field, including 16 years in management positions. His prior work experiences include holding leadership roles in a not for profit healthcare system, where he served as Director of Labor Relations and Director of Employee Compensation and Benefits for many years.
