Dr. Nelson Anaya Archila

Dr. Anaya is a Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineer and Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Anaya completed his bachelor degree in Bucaramanga, Colombia, and then he moved to US to acquire his Master degree and PhD in the University of Puerto Rico and University of Rhode Island, respectively.

Dr. Anaya’s research interests are focused in the synthesis, application and toxicity of nanomaterials, fate and transport of pollutants, water quality, and fluid dynamics; as well in the interaction, impact and adaptation of contaminants on microorganisms.
