Paul Reinert is currently an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Prior to joining the Wilkes faculty, Paul worked in public education for 34 years as junior high school science teacher, middle school guidance counselor, and K-12 administrator at all levels - elementary, middle, high school, and central office.
During his time at Wilkes, Paul has worked collaboratively to revise several courses in the Doctoral Program including Ethics for Educational Leaders, Qualitative Methods in Educational Research, and Strategic Thinking and Planning. In addition, Paul works with doctoral students as a dissertation chair, committee member, and examiner. In his dissertation work with students, Paul focuses primarily on qualitative methodologies.
Paul’s University activity includes membership on the Research and Scholarship Committee, the Mentoring Committee, University Assessment Committee, Council on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (CODIE), and the Wellness Committee.
Most recently, Paul has offered a First Year Foundations (FYF) course for wellness and resilience called Survive and Thrive.
