How to Get Involved
- Enjoy: Register to attend Taste of Wilkes and enjoy food prepared by members of the university community!
- Vote: Pick your favorite dish. Our chef with the most votes receives a prize and their name engraved on our plaque.
- Raffle: Purchase tickets online for our Taste of Wilkes Basket Raffle for a chance to win great prizes!
About Taste of Wilkes
Taste of Wilkes began in 1992 as a time during the busy holiday season for the Wilkes family to gather together to celebrate family, food and giving. Taste of Wilkes was always a fun event to bring together the reason why Wilkes asks employees to make monetary contributions to the United Way. The United Ways goals and mission has always been to support families in need and educating youth.
While the format of Taste of Wilkes may have changed over the years, the goals have always remained the same: to celebrate the beautiful cultural diversity and favorite family dishes of faculty, staff, students and alumni. As well as giving us the opportunity to gather together to celebrate one another.
