Welcome Back Students!

I hope you are safe and well in these challenging times. As the start of the Spring 2021 semester approaches (Feb. 1), I call some important information to your attention:

Spring 2021 Class Schedule

Please remember to retrieve an up-to-date copy of your Spring 2021 Class Schedule via the MYWilkes portal as close to the start of classes as possible, as many course delivery methods have changed, as well as time and room assignments for face-to-face classes. COVID room size restrictions have reduced the capacities of most classes. Please refer to the recent communication from President Cant regarding “Colonels Combat COVID: A Guide to Returning this Spring” for further information on any restrictions and instructions on class safety protocols. More information on COVID-19 and the Spring 2021 semester can be found on our Spring 2021 Planning page.

Note that you are formally registered for all courses listing “RE” or “RW” status.  A “WL” status after a particular course means that you are only wait-listed, not registered, for that course; if you are still interested in that particular course/section, you should check directly with the instructor during the first week of classes to see if any openings have occurred due to drop/add activity. If the wait-listed course is a Face-To-Face or Hybrid course, please do not go directly to the classroom to gain permission from the instructor to enter the course. Instead, please email the instructor for permission. If you gain entry into that class, or wish to drop or add a course, you must still complete the appropriate form, secure the proper approvals, and return it to the Registrar’s Office either in paper format in person, or via an electronic form.

Please note that you must be registered for 12 credits in order to be considered a full time student for billing and financial aid purposes.

It is also very important that our office keep up-to-date student information in our records. Please make sure we have your local address and phone number in our system.
