Earn Your BSN at Wilkes
Students can apply to transfer in to our BSN program starting in July for the following year's fall semester.

Transfer nursing applicants will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis once their application and required documents are received. There are limited transfer nursing seats available each fall and our nursing program is extremely competitive.
How to Apply
To be considered for admission as a transfer nursing student, you must submit a completed transfer application.

During the application process, you will be asked to provide the following:
- An Official High School Transcript
- This can be waived if you have attempted 30 or more college credits
- Official college/university transcript(s) from any school(s) you have previously attended
- If you are a practicing LPN looking to enter our LPN to BSN program, you will also
need to submit:
- A copy of your LPN License
- An official transcript from an accepted accredited LPN school
Determining Your Entry Status
Student status depends on if you meet the following prerequisites.
- If you do not meet all of the listed prerequisites, you may qualify as a first year nursing student (year one).
- If you meet all of the listed prerequisites, you may qualify as a clinical ready nursing student (year two).
LPN to BSN Program
If you are a practicing LPN and meet all the following prerequisites, you may qualify to apply to our LPN to BSN program.
Students who come from an accredited institution can test out of certain courses. The Nursing department will work with the student to arrange testing for NLN mobility examinations. Those exams include:
- Nutrition
- Fundamentals of Nursing
- Mental Health
- Obstetrics
- Pediatrics
Students are given two attempts to obtain a passing score as determined by the Passan School of Nursing.
