Get to Know Adrianna Aziz

Hi everyone! My name is Adrianna Aziz and I am a current P-1 pharmacy student here at Wilkes. I’m originally a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, born and raised in Reading, PA. I’ve been at Wilkes for the past two years through the Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat program, truly getting to know and experience the culture of Wilkes University. Healthcare has always been a huge passion for the women of my family, so pharmacy fit just like a puzzle piece for my professional career! Along with being a pharmacy student, I’ve chosen to pursue a minor in chemistry due to how much Wilkes has made me fall in love with it. On campus, I’ve been involved as an RA, a Bonner Leader, the executive director of our school’s Dance Marathon, in the school’s Fellowship Club and have recently been elected the president of the P-1 class! Off campus, I’ve recently started an internship with Lehigh Valley Hospital Network within their pharmacy services, rotating between 4 different hospitals within infusion and retail.

Why Study Pharmacy at Wilkes?

Support is a huge thing within the program, and it's so easy to know you have someone in your corner at all times. Between the professors and the friends I've been able to make, Wilkes has a place for everybody no matter who you are.

Why Did You Become a Pharmacy Student Ambassador?

Having a great first impression that reflects a great experience is super important, and I wanted to be that first impression for others! So many people aren't only unaware of the Wilkes NSoP, but of pharmacy as a career itself! I want people to be more aware of the options they have, and how Wilkes NSoP is one of the few :)
