Withdrawal from the University

Withdraw from Wilkes University After the Start of the Semester
Undergraduate and Pharmacy students withdrawing after the semester starts must complete the following steps:
- The student must meet with someone in the Student Life and Success Office (located on the 2nd floor of Passan Hall) to obtain the necessary University Withdrawal form. If physically unable to go to that office, you must contact them at 570-408-4100 or email studentlifeandsuccess@wilkes.edu to initiate the withdrawal process.
- Via the University Withdrawal form obtained from the Student Life and Success Office, an acknowledgement of the complete withdrawal must be given by the Financial Aid Office (located on the 2nd floor of Capin Hall), and from the Bursar’s Office (located on the 1st floor of Miller Hall).
- After these three office acknowledgements have been secured, the Registrar’s Office
will then process the withdrawal of all of the student’s courses for that term on
their academic record, and notify the following offices that the University Withdrawal
has been completed:
- Student Life and Success
- Financial Aid
- Bursar
- Student’s Advisor (or Chairperson, if unavailable)
- Student’s Current Instructors
- Residence Life (if applicable)
- Library
- Public Safety
