First-Year Student Orientation 2018
- Session 1: Sunday, July 1, 2018 to Monday, July 2, 2018
- Session 2: Sunday, July 15, 2018 to Monday, July 16, 2018
Each spring, incoming students receive an Orientation Welcome letter, which provides instructions on how to log on to the Wilkes University portal to register for an Orientation session and complete a list of important tasks.
Due to many exciting renovation and construction projects being completed around campus and the Wilkes-Barre community, we encourage you to use the South Franklin St. entrance to parking lot #6, located behind the Henry Student Center. The lot #6 entrance is accessible at 253 S Franklin St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
Need extra parking? Overflow parking is available in the parking garage, located at 148 S. Main St.

Every year, first year students participate in a community service project as part of their First-Year Student Orientation. In small groups, they get to know some of the local organizations, become more familiar with the Wilkes-Barre area and of course, make connections with their new peers!
